Why does Cheyenne need another thrift store?
There are many charities that need help from our community. It is our belief that a FOR-PROFIT store may be able to help multiple charities, and in turn, help some of the neediest in Cheyenne.

We propose that several thousand dollars a month will go to our charity partners from products that might otherwise end up in the landfill.

There are several charities that operate in Cheyenne that do not really benefit local people. Most people who donate to these charities do not realize they are donating to out-of-state charities that only help people in those states they serve.

Charity Partners Program
Participating non-profit charities earn a guaranteed percentage of our gross sales that are dedicated to charity. Charity partners help with clothing drives, and word of mouth promotion to acquire more usable product for recycling through Super Thrift.

Super Thrift has two local Charity Partners and they receive approximately 55% of our monthly donations. The other 45% of our monthly donations go to three or more other local charities. Our charity partners can provide volunteers to help work in the store to earn additional donation dollars for their charity. The duties volunteers may be asked to perform can include:
- helping in the clothing / laundry room
- working on the collection truck
- helping organize, clean and price products
- help with building maintenance
